Our history

We had the opportunity to be the first company to bring Stretch Ceilings to Brazil in 1993. It soon became clear that the Brazilian market had its own particularities and everything needed to be very unique. Brazilian professionals needed a brand that looked at their own way of doing architecture and lighting, thinking up innovative solutions and not just imitating international formulas. That’s why in 2006 we established ourselves as an original brand, Tensoflex®. In its early years as an independent brand, Tensoflex® paved the way of developing creative and unique projects, with growing collaboration with important architects, interior designers and lighting designers.

A few years later, we brought a great innovation to the market by creating the Removable System, an exclusive and practical solution for the maintenance of lighting elements  without specialized teams and other accessories. We also developed a new series of aluminum profiles to replace complementary metal structures, which allowed sophisticated shapes and pieces to be created.

Today, Tensoflex® is the leader brand in Brazil and favorite among specification professionals. We expanded our operations to become an international company, with representation in Latin America and the United States.
